Brett Meyers, CEO of CurrencyFair, had an idea to streamline the sign-up process on the CurrencyFair website, specifically the step where new customers need to submit their documentation. He proposed using an iPhone app to solve this pain point.

After a couple of sessions with Brett we had an outline for how we might achieve this whilst also tying everything into CurrencyFair’s existing systems.

The resulting iPhone app uses a combination of a QR code, the phone’s camera and secure file-uploading to enable new customers to easily capture and upload their documents, thus painlessly completing the sign-up process.
